Sudan, South Sudan Chambers of Commerce Discuss Reactivation of Bilateral Trade Relations
Khartoum - The Sudanese Businessmen Union and the South Sudan State's Chamber of Commerce, and Industry and Agriculture discussed the mechanisms to reactivate the economic cooperation and trade between the two countries and to enhance the border trade and to turn it into areas for mutual trade benefits for the welfare of the peoples of both countries and achieving social stability and a closer ties between the two peoples on the borders.
The meeting, which has included the General Secretary of the Union, Bakri Yousif Omer, and the head of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the State of the South Yagoub, Kenney Leguhas approved a call on the private sectors in both countries to play their role for consolidation of the economic relations between the two countries and to exchange visits, information and meetings to contribute to strengthening the relations between businessmen in the two countries.
Meanwhile, the meeting also approved the need for coordination between them in the international and regional economic organizations forums.
The meeting has discussed establishment of the required mechanisms of cooperation for supporting the efforts for development and achieving stability and establishing strong relations in other areas.
