Sudan, South Sudan Upgrade Diplomatic Representation
Khartoum – Sudan's Foreign Ministry revealed an agreement with South Sudan to upgrade diplomatic representation between the two countries to ambassador level with the necessity to expedite nominating the ambassadors.
This came following Foreign Minister, Ali Karti meeting Sunday with South Sudan Deputy Foreign Minister and Minister of International Cooperation, Nyam Lil.
Foreign State Minister, Salah Wanasi said in press statements that the meeting between the two sides was serious and discussed the issues in transparency.
Wanasi revealed the submission of two working papers including the conception of each country on the relations between the two countries to be discussed and decide on soon.
He pointed out that the two sides signed the official agendas paper which calls for complete cooperation between the two ministries and working to push forward relations between the two countries.
The next meeting will take place in Juba at a later date.
