New Governors Appointed for East, West and Central Darfur States

Khartoum – President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Hassan Al Bashir, Tuesday issued three presidential decrees.

The first decree (2012) relieved Abdul Hamid Musa Kasha Kabur from his post as governor of South Darfur State and Jaffar Abdul Hakum Ishaq was also relieved from his post as governor of West Darfur State.

In the second decree (2012), the President appointed Abdul Hamid Musa Kasha as governor of East Darfur State, Yousuf Tibin Musa Adam as governor of the Central Darfur State, Hammad Ismail Hammad as governor of South Darfur State and Hayder Galu Kuma as Governor of West Darfur State.

Jaffar Abdul Hakum Ishaq who is relieved from his post as governor of West Darfur State, is reappointed as presidential adviser.
