SRCS Provides Health Service to Returnees in Blue Nile State

SRCS continued its operations to provide humanitarian services to the IDPs returning to Blue Nile State. SRCS medical teams provided health services to the returnees in Kurmuk Locality. These medical services included medical consultations, health education, medications besides registering the available drugs and medical equipments in Kurmuk hospital. In addition to that SRCS volunteers organized cleaning campaigns in the hospital and the main premises in Kurmuk locality.
SRCS Sectary General Osman Gaffer said that SRCS has mobilized its staff and volunteers to support the official health services in the main hospital in Kurmuk Locality. “SRCS trained many volunteers on First Aid to help in providing health services, health education and hygiene activities” added SRCS Sectary General.
SRCS Medical Coordinator in Blue Nile State Dr. Wadah Mohamed Awad said that SRCS volunteers organized cleaning campaigns in health premises, markets and used lasting affect pesticides. “SRCS mobile clinics provided its services in various places in Blue Nile States such as Kurmuk, Gord and Salae” said Dr. Wadah Mohamed Awad adding that SRCS mobile clinics provided health services to more than 3000 beneficiaries.
