Governor of Gedarif State Meets the Delegation of Amhara Region Union

Gedarif - Governor of Gedarif state  Karamallah Abbas ALsheikh met at his office this morning the delegation of Amhara region union headed by Ms Nigisti Almayo chairwoman of the women |union at Aamhara region in Ethiopia with the attendance of Uz Soad Deshol advisor of the state government for woman and child affairs and Fathia Hamad Alneel the secretary general of woman in the state and a number of women leadership beside the commissioner of Basinda locality.
The Governor affirmed his government's keenness to enhance the joint relations between the two brotherly peoples specially between Gedarif and Amhara region and he called for the necessity of the participation of the community based organizations in enhancing the joint relations through the various programmes , activities and the protocols between the woman in Gedarif and the Amhara region.
The Governor pointed to many programmes and projects that could be exchanged between the two parts specially in the agricultural field where Ethiopia is developed , beside the exchange of scientific experiences to benefit from Gedarif University and Bahar Dar.
On her side, Ms Nigisty expressed her happiness by visiting Gedarif, where she got acquainted to the woman experience in Gedarif.
On another side the woman union in Gedarif and Amhara region have signed a memo of understanding to hold a commercial exhibition and to reactivate the trade protocol between the two sides.
