Chinese, South African Ministers of Mining to Visit Sudan

Khartoum - The Ministry of Minerals has invited the Ministers of Mining of the People's Republic of China and South Africa to visit the country in the coming period.
The Director of the Department of the Technical Foreign Cooperation at the ministry, Dr. Ibrahim Shaddad, said that the visit comes in the framework of the openness of Sudan to benefit from the international experiences in the field of mining.
He pointed out that the State of South Africa has extensive experience in the use of mining technology, adding that the invitation came for the implementation of the proposal given by the Sudan in the Conference of Mining which was held in China.
Concerning the invitation of the Chinese minister, Dr. Shaddad said that the visit is aimed for strengthening cooperation the field of minerals and the follow up of the implementation of the memorandum of understanding that was signed between the ministry and the Chinese Geological Research and Minerals Assessment Corporation
