Sergio Aguero Targeting 'a lot of Titles & Trophies' with Manchester City
Sergio Aguero has eulogized his Manchester City teammates and insisted that the Eastlands outfit are the best team he has ever played for.
"I'm very happy here, because the team has good players and is the best team I've ever played in," the striker told City’s official club website. "I hope that we can go on to win a lot of titles, a lot of trophies. I want to score plenty more goals for the fans. All the matches in the Premier League are very difficult, but we will be doing our best to win as many as possible."
The Argentina striker joined the club three months ago from Atletico Madrid and has netted 10 goals for Roberto Mancini’s side so far. Aguero, 23, was rested for City’s League Cup win over Wolves in midweek but is expected to return to the line-up against the same opponents on Saturday.
"I'm really happy for all our supporters, they are great fans and I can tell they are happy," he continued while signing autographs for the fans. "I'm pleased they would come here and queue just to get my signature."
The former Atletico Madrid player believes City’s demolition of Manchester United last weekend was a great achievement for all connected to the club.
"I'm really pleased to have scored a goal at Old Trafford," he smiled. "United are a very good team, but now I'm only looking at how good we are. I'm very happy for us to have won - it's very difficult for City or any team to win at Old Trafford."
