Eritrean President begins Two-Day Visit to Sudan

Khartoum  - The Eritrean President Asaias Afwerki arrived Khartoum Wednesday on a two-day visit to the country.
 
President Al Bashir held talks with the visiting Eritrean President yesterday.

The two presidents discussed bilateral relations and the ways and means of enhancing them in all fields for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

The Eritrean President will visit today Merwe Dam, considered a landmark and a booster of development of the country.

“We have decided that our relations should be expanded in all fields and we shall continue talks and consultation all the time,” President Al Bashir said.

On the other hand, President Al Bashir has said another road connecting the two countries will be built in addition to a railway line.

“The new realities necessitate that we strengthen our mutual cooperation to face the challenges ahead,” President Al Bashir said.
