Children First: CBOs Should Fence Schools
In many of Khartoum State semi-urban areas you see many schools without fences. The CBOs (Community Bases Organizations) in these areas can easily fence these schools in addition to the construction of environmental sanitation especially in girls’ schools.
It is not logical that these communities was for other parties to fence for them the schools that their children are attending especially those in these areas; the raw materials for construction are available and many have the trucks and workers to do the job.
We call for a wide campaign for fencing and construction of environmental sanitation in all these schools.
Same time such a campaign if possible should include an initiative to plant trees inside and outside and around the schools which help in first to raise the awareness of children about the environment and help combat climate change and make the children in a green environment and spread the spirit of the love and respect of nature among them.
Please, CBOs don’t wait for any level of government to do this for you, do it yourself and today before tomorrow. Make your children study in a fenced green compound.
