Governor of Red Sea State Meets New Egyptian Consul in Port Sudan
Port Sudan - The Red Sea Governor Dr. Mohamed Tahir Aila met at office Thursday with the new Egyptian Consul in Port Sudan Mohamed Khalil.
The meeting reviewed prospects of the cooperation and distinguished relations between Sudan and Egypt particularly the warm relation between the Red Sea state and sister Egypt.
Dr. Aila lauded the advanced level of Sudanese-Egyptian relations, underlining keenness of his government to develop cooperation between the consulate and the state, welcoming the new Egyptian Consul.
The Egyptian Consul, for his part, expressed pleasure over his work in the Red Sea State, affirming readiness to boost the bilateral relations and to support the issues serve the joint interests of the two peoples in the two sister countries.
It is worth mentioning that the Red Sea State has mutual interests with Egypt in the fields of health, roads and urban development through Egyptian specialized companies and Ministry of Health.
