Sudan Vision, a Melting Pot (1)
Today, I am writing my impressions, expressing myself, not as a writer, but as a reader of Sudan Vision.
I have been very keen to buy this esteemed newspaper, not daily or weekly, but may be regularly from time to time.
As a writer I have very recently decided to contribute to it and I am willing to continue if other things remain equal, and I hope I will.
Definitely there are newspapers, daily issued in English, their contributions are undeniable, but Sudan Vision surpasses them all for being historically the oldest one, in addition to the distinction of stability, moderation and punctuality.
But moderation I mean that this newspaper always undertakes reasonable articles, reasonable analyses and so not extreme. This is why I describe it as a model and good example, may be the best among all the available journals on the horizon.
Sudan Vision, in my opinion represents a melting pot for all Sudanese and may be non-Sudanese, but because "unity" is now in question and the importance of keeping all the Sudanese of the "Mother Country" as one body is paramount. We do confirm the enhancement of all the coefficients and factors that help reaching the target.
This journal is the pot that collets all the Sudanese to interact and express themselves via a foreign language that dominates the world. It is the English language which is now number one worldwide. Why is it Number One? It is not because of America and its modern technology that English language is now Number One, America is only a new comer into our world. It is in fact because of the glorious past of Great Britain that English Language is now dominating.
Despite the controversy we are very much concerned with the fact that English language is dominating and we need to learn and accomplish it in order to be able to cope with the complexities in the world.
And Sudan Vision I think is paving the way for attaining this.
To be continued…………….
