Sudan Constitutes International Center for Production and Marketing of Meat and Fish

Khartoum - Faisal Hassan Ibrahim, Minister of Animal Resources, affirmed the ministry's focus on developing natural pastures in different states, infrastructure, animal resources, and fishery.
Faisal said that the government's policies seek to develop exports through the rehabilitation and expansion in slaughterhouses and quarantines as well as increasing production and turning the animal production into one capable of satisfying local, regional and international demand through reinforcing scientific research and providing the best veterinary care.
The ministry looks to transform the sector from a consumer one to a market sector and that is why the ministry formulated the second 5-year plan (2012-2016) which works in line with the tripartite..more
